Crock Pot Taco Soup

This is a recipe that I make on a regular basis. It’s great to give to others if someone is in need of a meal, or just to enjoy yourself. It’s super easy and healthy at the same time. You can drain some of the juice off and put in a tortilla, or just crumble tortilla chips on top garnished with avocado and sour cream.

1 lb. ground turkey meat

1 large onion, chopped

1 can mild Rotel

1 can ranch style beans

1 can whole kernel corn, undrained

2 cans pinto beans, undrained

1 can black beans, undrained

1 (16 oz) jar picante sauce


Brown meat and onions in skillet. Drain.

Combine with all other vegetables and picante sauce in a slow cooker.

Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours.

Serve with corn or tortilla chips, sour cream, avocado and shredded cheese.
