My friend Jan brought me this cake when Caroline was born 17 years ago. It’s been a staple dessert in my house ever since. It is so moist and goes great with coffee or a cold glass of milk. What doesn’t go with coffee??
Jan’s Chocolate Chip cake
1 Duncan Hines Butter Yellow Cake mix
1 small package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 bar German’s sweet chocolate, melted (the green box)
6 oz. package semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all but chocolate chips – beat for 4-5 minutes on medium speed. Stir in chocolate chips; put in a greased bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
